EXPANDING ON LIFE'S CORE VALUES AS A YOUNG ATHLETE

The mind and body program is based on 2 principles that create a successful athlete: physical strength and mentality. This program is to educate, enhance, and inspire young athletes to become the best versions of themselves, on and off the court.

What the program includes/looks like:

  > 45min - agility/plyometric training: learning proper mechanics, footwork, and functional movement while at a high intensity>

  > 45min - mentality talk: learning about ones' mental toughness/strength. Overview on weekly accomplishments/challenges, readings on inspirational and successful individuals, dive deeper into what motivates/inspires/drives you as an athlete

This a 2x per week (Tuesday/Thursday) program for 5-weeks from 6:30-8pm. Cost is $375.

Head of the program is Kelsee Montagna. She has recently returned home after serving 5 years at Cabrillo College as the head beach and indoor volleyball coach. She has created the mind and body series based on her 3 pillars program which is based on educating and inspiring young athletes through the overall importance of health and wellness, physical strength, and mentality. She has two master's degrees (Exercise Science & Coaching and Organizational Leadership, Management), is certified in strength/conditioning, sports nutrition, and a wide variety of yoga.

Sessions will be held at the Heat Facility at the Fresno Fairgrounds on 911 S. Chance Ave., Fresno, CA.
