The Valley Juniors program is designed for 13 and 14 year old volleyball players with some volleyball experience and under 12 volleyball players with previous club volleyball experience. There will be a portion of each session to learning a skill then the rest for comeptition in a game like environment. VVA coaches will run the practices. It will be both a tremendous learning environment and quality competition for this age group. This is a great opportunity for the junior high volleyball players who did not play club this season to participate. For club players who finished their season and want to keep playing. Or for younger players who want to improve and start playing with the higher net and heavier ball.

Advanced skill acquisition

  • We will dive deeper into how to pass, set, spike, and serve

May 12th

4:30 PM - 5:45 PM

Advanced knowledge of the game of volleyball

  • We will take a deeper look at how the game of volleyball is played and apply last week's skills

May 19th

4:30 PM - 5:45 PM

Time for match play!

  • We will have a brief review of skills and begin competing

May 26th

4:30 PM - 5:45 PM

Time to challenge yourself!

  • We will compete again, this time with fun challenges throughout testing the athletes to perform advanced skills

June 2nd

4:30 PM - 5:45 PM

Time to leave it all out on the floor!

  • We will prepare and conduct a full-on tournament
